Elegant music for your event in the Central Indiana area

Wedding Musicians in Other Areas of Indiana:

• The Bloomington Symphony

• Brasswind.  A brass quintet performing weddings and other functions in Northern Indiana and Lower Michigan.

• Earlham College.  In Richmond Indiana, their music department may have some suggestions for you.

• The Evansville Philharmonic

• Floyd Central High School Orchestra.  This is one of the state's best high school orchestra programs.  If you're looking for a string group on the state's southwest side, Doug Elmore may have some suggestions for you.  Again, high school students will most likely not know the wedding business very well, so you may have to work with them.

• The Fort Wayne Philharmonic

• The Indiana University School of Music, Office of Musical Attractions.  For weddings in and around the Bloomington area.  The contact person is Mary Vargo.  Through this office, you can hire students from one of the country's top music schools to play for your event.  Keep in mind that the students may be incredible musicians, but may or may not be experienced in the business of weddings.  (812) 855-7047.

• The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra

• Lafayette Symphony does not have a website that I could find, but if you are looking for musicians in that area, you might try to look them up the old-fashioned way—in the yellow pages!

• Louisville Orchestra.  This orchestra is actually based in Louisville, KY, but it is very close to New Albany and Floyd Knobs, Indiana, on the state's southwest side.  They may have smaller groups you can hire to play for your events, so you don't have to pay $15,000 for the entire 70 piece orchestra!

• The Marion Philharmonic

• The Muncie Symphony Orchestra

• Purdue University Music Department.  Who knows?  Though Purdue does not offer a music degree, their excellent non-major music department may have some suggestions for you if you have an event in the Lafayette area.

• Richmond Symphony Orchestra.  Richmond, Indiana, on the state's central, far east side.  They will probably refer you back to us!  We are willing to discuss driving to Richmond since it is my husband's hometown (and home to Grandma and Grandpa) but we have to negotiate this on a case by case basis since it is hard to find other musicians willing to travel.  You might ask RSO for other, more local suggestions, since we may not be able to travel.

• South Bend Symphony Orchestra

• Stringsound Ensembles.  A string group in the northwestern Indiana/Chicago area.
